  Technology:
  Brazed: A silver alloy braze joins the parts without welding. This is only suitable for water-cooled cutting applications. Dry cutting is unsuitable for tools of less than 4 mm. Joint thickness.
  
  Laser welded: Welds the parts togheter using a laser. This allows for safe use of segmented tools for dry cutting.
  
  Sintered: The powder mix is cold-pressed directly onto the shank. The successive sintering in moulds yields continuous or segmented rim disks, with smooth or turbo segments. Allows for safe use of the tool for dry cutting.
